Inspired by the style of Jasper Johns, this work is part of the two series that focus on road and building signs that are part of American culture and history.

This work is based on signs from Pioneer Town in California. Pioneer Town was a motion picture set, and hundreds of westerns movies and television shows were filmed here. Our artwork is a tribute to this slice of Americana - to the mythology of the wild west. The abandoned motion picture set now serves as a tourist attraction and the romantic lure of wild west still lives on.
